So the meeting yesterday went VERY well! I even got a kiss on my hand from the agent, lol. He’s a great guy. So now comes the follow ups etc to see if they will be my new representation. I’ll keep you posted.
Yesterday though I was a baaad bad girl. I had sushi for lunch, lol. Well it wasn’t that bad, I went really light on the rice and chose brown as opposed to white. And I stuck to the healthier rolls and miso soup. So the damage wasn’t that bad. However I killed the HELL OUT OF THAT CRAVING that I was having. And I don’t regret it one bit.
I ended up going to the gym late at night. Did 30 mins of cardio to start (to make up for the sushi debacle, lol), then 60 mins of weights (heavy – 8-10 reps) and focused on back and chest. Then 30 mins of cardio to finish off. Both cardio sessions were SS. Burned 542 cals in total with the cardio.
I LOOOOVE training back. My back has really developped well. You can’t really see it well in the videos because of the lighting. However, I love the shape of my upper body. I have a decent V taper, and the lats/teres major/traps/rhomboids have shaped up very well. My shoulders have capped off really well to over the last few weeks. I’m pleased with my progress. It was funny last night because I got approached by 2 guys at the gym. Older, in their 40s/50s. One asked “So are you a track star or do you do body building? Your hamstrings and just body in general is in GREAT condition.” He was a former bodybuilder with an athletic background back in the day. He won a few titles locally and nationally. We chatted it up a while, he was good peeps. Everyone always thinks I’m a track runner. I mean I run, but I haven’t been that serious about the sport since 15 years ago, lol. My mother however, huge track runner. Father was a basketball player, so my genetics have me naturally able to be built into an Olympic athlete of some sort (I guess, lol).
Anyways, I’m now starting to bring total focus to my presentation for the show. Suit is ready. I know how my hair will be worn. I’m picking up the jewelry. I may get some new heels with rhinestones on them. A simple single band across. And now I’m looking at make-up colors and will pick some things up at MAC today.
Now the next agenda… TANNING. I’m not sure what to do here. What do you guys use? Especially my fellow competitors of darker skin tone. I’m thinking Protan. I saw they have a high definition tanning product that comes in a cool spray bottle. May look into that! Uuuuggh look at the time! I’ve gotta run.
